Second Lieutenant Louis P. Ajello was born on January 2, 1922, in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York. He served as a navigator in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II, assigned to the 445th Bomb Group, 703rd Bomb Squadron.
Lt. Ajello is interred at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in Lemay Township, St. Louis County, Missouri, in Section 82, Site 14B.
